Are you ready for the sweetest story ever??? For those of you that read our blog, this is the same little boy that rode his new bike (he received at our Christmas party) up and down the hallway. Well.... a few weeks ago, I told Mrs. Patti (Anne Presley's mom) about him. He and his needs are constantly on my mind. She said, "Avie, I'm going to pray for him and do something to help!" Boy did she ever!!! Ms. Patti went on the ultimate shopping spree at the Gap and got the CUTEST clothes, socks, and underwear for this sweet little boy. I woke up soo excited this morning because I knew he was going to be thrilled!! During recess, I explained that someone very special loves and prays for him. He looked at me and smiled. I started pulling everything out of the bags and his face LIT up with joy. I said, "D., this is all for YOU!" The look on his face was pricesless!! He pulled off his shirt and wanted to put on his new clothes immediately!! Doesn't he look adorable??? His brothers said, "D, you look so fly!" The smile on his face is something I will always treasure. This is why I'm driven to work at this school. Mrs. Patti, thank you for this sweet act of kindness. You are the most selfless person I've ever met. You don't know how much this meant to him and to me.....

Terrariums
Bald Eagle Flying Away-How neat is that??I wanted to take him home!!!
Scoot and I went to Rsvl this weekend. Friday night I went on a long bike ride with my dad....he followed behind me in his ranger with Sid. Lots of fun, except for the killer hill!! We also had happy hour at Granny's house. Saturday, mom and I went to Taylor's Nursery and got stuff for the terrariums. They were a lot of fun to create and hopefully will survive with very little maintenance. Scoot and I went to dinner with my grandparents that night and enjoyed a long drive in the country. We went to breakfast at the Old South this morning and sat in the Elvis booth. We had a great weekend with our family.

Bragging On My Dad
I have to brag on my dad's photography skills. As long as I can remember, my dad has always had numerous hobbies.....Cowboys and Indains, Scuba Diving, Running, Golf, Rodeos, Fly Fishing, Hunting, Farming, 4-Wheeling (thank goodness that's over), and now photography. All of these pics were taken at Bar 6. Isn't it a beautiful place????
You can check out his picassa website here:

5K!!
We did it!! We finished our first 5k run. It was a great experience and I felt such a sense of accomplishment as I crossed the finished line. My time was 32:17 and Scoot's was 37:48. Dr. W. will be so proud! I'm doing this for my health, but also in memory of my baby. Thanks Lu for coming!! He rewarded us with a yummy lunch from Buffalo Grill. We went shopping at the mall and I treated myself to a pedicure. Pedis are my new favorite thing!! Mary cooked a delicious dinner and then we got in the hot tub. It was sooo relaxing...Have a great Sunday!!

Me & Robin- Her husband calls her Rah! How cute!We had a VERY busy weekend, but it was so much fun. We drove to Rsvl Friday night for my brother's birthday. Thanks mom and dad for the delicious dinner. Saturday morning we drove to Hot Springs for the Arkansas Derby. We met up with a bunch of friends and enjoyed the day outside. We spent Easter in Searcy with Scoot's family. Mrs. Chrystal cooked a HUGE lunch. It was so nice to be with friends and family.
