Swallow Study

We went to Harrison's second swallow study at ACH today. He did MUCH better this time. It's so fascinating to watch the process. The Speech Pathologist and Dr. decided to move him from HONEY to NECTAR consistency and continue baby food. Of course he would do so much better with the spoon for them than me. There was no sign of aspiration throughout the entire study. YAY! The last time his nurse didn't tell me his poop would be white from the barium juice. Glad I know that now! He will have a follow-up in October and hopefully have outgrown it. So proud of my big boy! Tomorrow we have an appointment with the high risk newborn clinic at ACH. Praying for a good report.
