So Long 2008!!!

Scooter and I are anxiously awating the beginning of 2009! For those of you who don't know, 2008 was a really tough year. We experienced death of several loved ones, including our baby, and cancer (Lu and my grandpa). Scooter and I have already declared that 2009 is going to be a wonderful year!! We feel that great things are on the way and are eagerly anticipating a very prosperous, fruitful new year! Below is a little diddy on our thoughts for the year. Happy 09 and love to you all!!!


2008 was quite the year
the worst of all time, but we have no fear
09 is coming and good times are near
From death to cancer to the press it was rough
But let it be known that we'll fight back because we're tough
We looked pain in the eye and said "you'll never break us down"
Mallory stayed strong, eventually losing her "freckle frown"
Family stuck with us through it all
With the worst of it hitting during the Fall
To our sweet baby girl, we love you so much and you're always on our minds
It's taking a while, but we hope at some point peace we will find
We now declare and receive only the best
So please know we're up to any test
Because we are stronger than the rest
2009: We feel your good, positive things on the way
Like health and happiness, maybe a baby, who's to say?

We spent New Year's Eve with some friends in Conway. Thanks Keith & Amy!! We had a blast!!
